Motivational and Recognition Products
A Gallup poll reported that 80 Percent of employees are motivated to increase performance on the job when they are recognized for their work. Or as Mary Kay Ash the legendary founder of Mark Kay Cosmetics put it, “There are two things people want more than sex and money…recognition and praise.”  With that in mind we have developed two outstanding motivational tools to use in conjunction with the book.

“I’m a Great Success”
Buttons

What could be more fun than receiving a button either for completing the book or accomplishing a “button worthy” deed? Woody Hayes, the famed Ohio State football coach started a tradition where each time a player had a good game or did something noteworthy, they received a “Buckeye” sticker on their helmet. By the time of graduation, often players would have dozens of Buckeyes. It was so motivating, 100’s of colleges have followed suit. Why not use buttons in a similar fashion? Allow your staff to collect buttons and be motivated to receive as many as possible.  Many companies even give employees the task of handing out buttons as acknowledgement of their peers.

Certificates of
Accomplishment

Receiving a personalized certificate signed by the author can be very rewarding and motivating, particularly for staff members who might not have received many accolades before. Most employeesÕ value ÒrecognitionÓ as being more important than how much they earn. Certificates can be given for reading the book, passing a test, or for completing one of the Òday exercisesÓ in the book. Certification will also encourage your staff to continue to take the books precepts to heart, and to encourage others to do the same.
